Portrait from paint on cardboard to print

9 Oct 2016 in Art

The painting was made on cardboard from a box that was packing material from something that was purchased. Sometimes my budget is low so whatever is available in my home becomes a canvas, besides mostly things in my home have at the very least a second life. But that wasn't meant to last so it was printed on fine art paper. That won't last either ultimately but will last 100 years, whereas the cardboard well that's already in a poor state.

Personally the texture of the cardboard was appealing to me and that created some nice effects with the paint.
